Meet Muskegon’s Dolly Barkon, Michigan’s Lone Pup In Puppy Bowl XX
Every year in January, we gear up for the most intense football game that you'll see all year long. Yes, my friends, it's the culmination of the two best teams who have battled through blood sweat, and tears to reach the big game. Of course, I'm talking about the Puppy Bowl.
This Year Animal Planet Presents; Puppy Bowl XX and Michigan's lone representative comes from Muskegon. This year, Dolly Barkon, a 6-month-old beagle mix from the Big Lake Humane Society will be the only puppy from Michigan to represent the state, as she will be in the starting lineup for Team Fluff. Big Lake expressed their excitement in the announcement:
Not only is this our shelter's very first time in the Puppy Bowl, but Dolly is the only puppy representing ALL of Michigan rescue pets this year! We will be having a Puppy Bowl Watch Pawty and Fundraiser at the The Dirty Dog Bar and Grille with TAIL-gating starting at noon. Come enjoy tacos, bloody marys, games, prizes, raffles and meet adoptable pets!
