Several people are set to face charges after a Kalamazoo search warrant led to the discovery of a large amount of marijuana.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says that on Saturday, they conducted  a search of the home on North Drake Rd, based on information they had obtained that led them to believe it was a bed of illegal drug activity. Inside the home, police found over 70 marijuana plants, along with five pounds of processed marijuana and a “large amount” of cash.

A 49-year-old man and 31-year-old man are set to face charges of possession with intent to deliver and maintaining a drug house, while the former will be charged with manufacturing marijuana and the latter with a parole violation; they were both arrested, while the KDPS is still waiting for charges against the other two people in the home.

The KDPS says that anyone with tips about drug sales should contact them, or call Silent Observer.
