Marshall Man Killed In Accident

A 38 year-old Marshall man failed to negotiate a curve and struck a tree early Sunday morning on 14 Mile Road near P Drive North.

Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived on the scene at approximately 4:37 AM and were assisted by the Marshall Township Fire Department and Marshall Firefighters Ambulance. The man was declared dead at the scene.

An investigation has led deputies to believe that speed and alcohol may have contributed to the crash.
