It may seem like the dog days of summer, but some of the best memories with family and friends can take place at your local bowling center.

GoBowling.com starts their annual National Bowling Day this year on August 10th, but can be celebrated all the way through August 31st. National Bowling Day is traditionally set for the second Saturday in August.

In order to celebrate, you must sign up through the GoBowling.com website to receive a coupon for one free game of bowling. If you need to rent shoes there will be a cost, depending on where you go. Of course, the bowling center you choose has several bowling balls available. Just don't use one that is too light or too heavy. If you have your own equipment, that's fine, too!
