What a mess!   Crews worked all day in the intense heat at I-94 mile marker 97 on Saturday.   State Police Sgt. McCaul says  a vehicle merged in front of a semi truck at a slow speed and was rear-ended by the semi, resulting in a double rollover.   The truck ended up on the south side of the Interstate, coming to rest behind the Mattress Mart on Beckley Road.   Sgt. McCaul says nobody was killed, but that the semi driver was airlifted to the hospital with injuries.   He says a passenger in the semi's sleeper compartment was not injured.    What looked like a huge pile of bricks that was being hauled, ended up in a pile next to the interstate.  Well, it wasn't bricks.  It was rectangular clear plastic containers of fresh strawberries!   Crews worked all day in the intense 95 degree heat to remove the vehicles in the debris field.   On Monday, a worker was using a bobcat to clean up the mess, which had taken on quite an aroma!
