A day after visiting Battle Creek's Air National Guard facility to attend the 110th Airlift Wing Awards Ceremony, Governor Rick Snyder discussed the visit on The Richard Piet Show on WBCK.

The governor also talked about road funding proposals being hammered out in the lame duck Michigan legislature, saying he is confident a compromise will be reached.

"I think there's something that is doable, now we just have to make sure politics doesn't get in the way," Snyder said.

He also discussed Detroit emerging from bankruptcy and what that means to the rest of the state, as well as some recent media reports mentioning his name in presidential candidacy circles.
