On December 1st, two Ohio State fans reported they were assaulted by Lewan in Ann Arbor. The incident was about eight hours after the Wolverines lost to the Buckeyes. No one was arrested at the time, but three weeks later police confirmed they were investigating whether the potential first-round pick had a role in the incident. Lewan says he did not assault the pair, and was only helping break up a fight.
