Suspect Arrested In String Of Burglaries

Police in Battle Creek say an arrest has been made in connection with numerous recent break-ins and thefts from vehicles.

The 32-year-old man was taken into custody yesterday and taken to the Calhoun County Jail pending arraignment.

The investigation involves break-ins at several businesses and homes on the south side of the city and in Springfield as well as the recent car break-ins at the Leila Arboretum.
