Three medical marijuana businesses in Battle Creek were ordered to close, over the past two weeks, largely because their owners failed to apply for a state license by a mid-February deadline or did not receive authorization from their municipalities.

Michigan regulators said Thursday that they ordered the closure of 210 medical marijuana businesses throughout Michigan for failure to comply by the February deadline.

According to the Battle Creek Enquirer, Mother Nature's Meds 3C and Battle Creek Compassionate Care had disconnected numbers. The third, a private collective named Western Michigan Alternative Medical Solutions, closed in mid-March.
