Thunderstorms Wednesday, Thursday

During the early morning hours Wednesday, shower activity could be seen on radar near Battle Creek and Kalamazoo. Forecasters have noted the potential for thunderstorms in southwest Michigan has heightened the severe weather outlook for the area on Wednesday and Thursday.

The National Weather Service forecast for Battle Creek shows rain through Friday morning, then clearing. A warming trend over the weekend shows temperatures in the 60's, possibly approaching 70 on Sunday.
