Two Kalamazoo Women Arrested On Drug Charges After Raid

Two Kalamazoo women are behind bars after they were busted with a large amount of drugs.

MLive reports that Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers witnessed a drug deal on Friday, and investigation led to them executing a search warrant at a home in the 100 Block of E. Clay St. around 2pm.

Inside, officers found marijuana, crack cocaine, and materials used in the packaging of drugs, along with a stolen handgun. Two of the women inside the home were arrested on drug charges; a 52-year-old is facing charges of drug possession, while a 32-year-old is facing a charge of frequenting a drug house, along with multiple warrants.

Two others were in the home at the time of the raid, and police are continuing to investigate.
