Would You Buy Used Tissues; A Company Is Selling Them
I have heard some odd things in my life but a company selling used tissues; now that is odd.
A news site called Hindustantimes is reporting about a company called Vaev based in Copenhagen Denmark, They believe:
that when flu season comes around, you should be able to get sick on your terms
So in the spirit of their belief they are selling used tissues so as they say it “you can get sick on your terms”. A box of their used tissues cost $79.99 in American dollars. You may not believe it but they say they are actually sold out. How many boxes they sold is not being reported.
The company states on their website that:
We’re not about chemicals or prescription drugs here at Vaev. We believe using a tissue that carries a human sneeze is safer than needles or pills
The owner of the company tells us he has 10 sneezers that he has hired and they sneeze into the tissue and then those tissues are packaged.
Yuck!
The owner of the company stated that the tissues are:
specially treated with organic ingredients, is non-prescription, and works hand in hand with the human body to keep your immune system feeling like your immune system
If you are interested in buying used tissues, so you can choose when to get sick and not take a risk at getting sick in an inconvenient time you may want to know what Charles Gerba, professor of microbiology and environmental sciences at the University of Arizona told Time:
There are more than 200 types of rhinoviruses, so you’re going to have to shove about 200 tissues up your nose each time to get a different one
Would you even consider buying used tissues?
