Common Core Gets Put On Notice

A conservative state lawmaker is going after the Common Core. Michigan House Republican Gary Glenn has announced a bipartisan effort to repeal the Common Core federal education standards in Michigan. Glenn says the system has no proven track record and should be replaced with standards in Massachusetts, which have been cited as resulting in superior performance on multiple tests. Glenn plans to introduce his legislation, early next month.
