Crash In Comstock Township Injures Three

Kalamazoo County Authorities are investigating after a crash late Thursday night in Comstock Township.

Authorities say that around 10pm Thursday, a westbound driver tried to pass a car in front of them in the 9000 block of East Michigan Avenue, but ended up colliding with an eastbound car in the process.

The driver lost control, and hit a pole before landing on the railroad tracks near East Michigan.  All three people involved were injured and taken to the hospital, but their injuries are minor.

Authorities say that speed and alcohol may have been factors.
