Tim Grubbs is a Regional Director with Ally Financial (formerly GMAC), says each of the 55 nominees receive a $1,000 award to donate to their favorite nonprofit organization.

Tim Kool will be putting that money in a special fund for Battle Creek soldier Joshua Throckmorton, killed in Afghanistan 3 years ago.  Throckmorton’s folks have worked at Heritage Chevrolet for many years, and he even worked there before going into the service.

Grubbs says four finalists will be selected and the winner will be recognized at the National   Automobile Dealers Association convention Jan. 23 in San Francisco.
