Police Investigate Shooting in Battle Creek

Police are trying to find out who is responsible for a shooting that happened in Battle Creek yesterday.  Officers became aware of the shooting when the victim showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.  The 22-year-old man told investigators that he had been walking near Parkway and Hazel when two men approached and one pulled a gun and fired.  The victim is expected to survive.
