The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office is asking for public help in finding potential stolen property, following an investigation into a break-in earlier this month.

The Sheriff's Office says that a break-in at Schweitzer Construction in Pennfield Township took place on December 8 overnight.  Investigators found that unknown suspects entered the property and stole a utility truck along with thousands of dollars in construction equipment.  The truck was found shortly after in a field in the 11000 block of Brown Road.

Tips led deputies to a storage shed December 16, in the first block of Cleveland Street In Battle Creek.  In the shed detectives found stolen items from Schweitzer Construction, along with Dadow Power Equipment and other burglaries.

Detectives believe suspects might have been selling the items online, so if anyone has any information regarding the sale of welders, saws, and generators, you are asked to contact the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office.
