Two Arrested For Credit Card Fraud In Battle Creek
A suspicious transaction at a Battle Creek business led to two arrests and the discovery of a large amount of fake credit cards.
Battle Creek Police Officers responded to a business in the 200 block of Columbia Avenue around 2:15pm Thursday, after a person attempted a cash advance with a card that employees thought was stolen. Officers then spoke with the two suspects, and after investigation authorities located about 50 fake credit cards in their vehicle.
Both suspects, a 25-year-old man and 21-year-old woman were arrested on fraud related charges.
