The names of two Michigan firefighters, who died on the way to fight a fire in Utah, have been released. The Associated Press reports that 25 year old Alan Swartz and 23 year old James Shelifoe died in a crash on Interstate 35W, Saturday afternoon in Minnesota. Both men are from Baraga in the Upper Peninsula and were on their way to fight the Box Canyon wildfire in Utah. Authorities say the accident happened when the truck they were in hit a median and rolled. Seven others in the truck were injured as well.
