Albion House Fire Takes Several Hours To Extinguish

At approximately 7:55 p.m. Wednesday night, the Albion Department of Public Safety responded to a structure fire in the 100 block of South Albion Street.

ADPS says that upon arrival, heavy fire was coming from the garage and kitchen area of the house.

It took multiple crews several hours to completely extinguish the fire.

There were no injuries reported and the residents were able to safely get out of the house. The cause of the fire is remains under investigation.

Sheridan Township Fire Department was called to assist with mutual aid.
