The Battle Creek Bombers continue to add to their 2017 roster with the addition of two pitchers from Oakland University.

The Northwoods League squad announced today that they will have Conor Bowers and Thomas Shook on their squad this season. Both Bowers and Shook are right-handed hurlers.

Bowers is a 6'3" redshirt sophomore for the Golden Grizzlies, after playing previously for Army. The Orchard Lake St. Mary's grad and Birmingham native earned all-district, all-region and all-league selections during his junior and senior years.

Shook, who goes by T.J.,  is a 6'3" redshirt junior that will see his first action at Oakland after transferring from the University of Michigan. He made just four appearances for the Maize and Blue, striking out seven in 5 1/3 innings last season. Shook attended University of Detroit Jesuit High School, compiling an 8-1-1 record with 115 strikeouts in 66 innings.

The Battle Creek Bombers open their 2017 season May 30 when they host the Lakeshore Chinooks at C.O. Brown Stadium. The first game with their rivals, the Kalamazoo Growlers, is June 1st. As always, there are great ticket packages available for this season.
