Battle Creek Country Club Plans Centennial Bash

This year the Battle Creek Country Club turns 100, and the club is celebrating with a Big Band Extravaganza to honor the "Greatest Generation."   There were other golf courses in Battle Creek, going back to the 1890's.   But thanks to the vision of a few avid golfers, the Battle Creek Country Club took shape in 1918. 

The Battle Creek Country Club has partnered with the Music Center & the Battle Creek Symphony to host a night of Big Band music from the ‘40s & ‘50s.  This will be an incredible opportunity to listen, and dance, to world class musical talent in an intimate setting. Anne Harrigan, Artistic Director & Battle Creek Symphony Music Director, has handpicked a select group of Musicians for an evening of music celebrating “The Greatest Generation.”
