Battle Creek Democrat Mark Schauer doesn't know if he will enter into a political race again, but tells WBCK he has moved on from a failed gubernatorial bid in 2014. Schauer said he has moved on from the election, and taken advantage of the ability to spend more time with family and work on a redistricting effort.

Schauer announced in 2015 he would be helping to lead Democrats' efforts to work on the redrawing of voting district boundaries - a challenge, since Republicans hold a majority in both chambers.

We also discussed the Flint water situation with Schauer, along with the related issue of Michigan's emergency manager law. Hear his thoughts by clicking the player below.
