The Battle Creek Bombers beat the St. Cloud Rox 3-2 in game 2 of the Northwoods League Summer Collegiate World Series.  A bases loaded wild pitch in the 10th inning gave the Bombers the win and sets up the winner-take-all game Saturday night at C.O. Brown Stadium.

St. Cloud scored two runs early off Battle Creek starter Max Swan.  But the Kellogg Community freshman settled down and gave the Bombers 6 innings and holding the Rox at two runs.

In the sixth, some sloppy play by the Rox opened the door for two Bomber runs to tie the game.

In the 10th, Cody Hawkins took a low pitch from Shelby Lackey that got by the St. Cloud catcher to keep the Bombers’ hopes alive.
