City Offices Closing Monday; Flash Flood Water Park Opens

The City of Battle Creek’s administrative offices will be closed on Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day.

Battle Creek Transit bus and Tele-Transit services are canceled on Monday, resuming regular weekday schedules on Tuesday, May 28.

Please note that Waste Management, the city’s trash and recycling hauler, also is closed on Monday. This will result in a one-day service delay the rest of next week.

This is opening weekend for Flash Flood Water Park at Full Blast, 35 Hamblin Ave. Water park hours this weekend are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Monday, May 25 and 27, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 26.  Visitors can buy one admission, get one half off, and there will be discounted concessions.

In addition Willard Library and the Helen Warner Branch will be closed on Monday, May 27, for Memorial Day.

The Post Office  will be closed on Monday, May 27th in observance of Memorial Day, and will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, May 28th
