College Football junkies love this time of year, as you can see will take the field for your favorite squad. It won't happen at the University of Michigan this weekend.

Two weeks after the Western Michigan Broncos moved their final spring practice indoors due to inclement weather and cold temperatures at Michigan State's Spring game last week, the Michigan Wolverines announced Wednesday that they were cancelling their Spring game due to weather concerns.

The National Weather Service is predicting rain all weekend across the Midwest, with up to an inch expected to lay down in Ann Arbor Saturday.

Michigan is not the only Big Ten school that has changed their weekend plans to end their Spring practices. The Wisconsin Badgers also cancelled their Spring game on Saturday. Former Western Michigan Broncos head coach P.J. Fleck and his Minnesota Golden Gophers moved their Spring game from Saturday to Thursday night. Fleck stated that the Spring game is for Gopher fans and their families and cancelling was "not an option".
