Five Below Opening Battle Creek Store in March

Reversing a trend that has seen chain stores disappear, new business is coming to Battle Creek near Lakeview Square Mall.

Discount chain Five Below (all items priced less than $5, get it?) will open in the former MC Sports in Harper Village Plaza on B Drive in Battle Creek. Harper Village Plaza has several big box stores, including Best Buy, Kohl's, and Menards. A sign posted above the door announces March 9 as the opening of the new Battle Creek retail space- one of more than 100 new Five Below's opening in 2018.
