Gen E Launches Minority- and Women-Owned Business Mentoring Program
In cooperation with the BCVision Small Business Action Team, Battle Creek's Generation E Institute is gathering volunteers who will mentor minority and women emerging business owners.
The program comes as a result of a BCVision benchmarking study which shows a need for more entrepreneurs and small business owners.
The Generation E Institute's Amanda Lankerd tells 95.3 WBCK of 2809 businesses with less than 100 employees in Battle Creek, only 120 are minority-owned; 235 are women-owned.
