Giant Oberon Bottle Stolen From Downtown Kalamazoo

Kalamazoo authorities are looking for a man who they say stole a large, inflatable bottle of one of Bell’s Brewery’s most iconic beers.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says that around 4:30am Tuesday, surveillance cameras show a man stealing a 12 foot tall inflatable Oberon bottle in the 100 block of W Michigan. The item is valued at over $2,000, so police are asking for any assistance in finding the culprit.

Security footage shows the suspect as having pale skin and short black hair, wearing dark pants and a light collared jacket. If you have any tips, contact police or Silent Observer.
