HS Basketball – Bearcats Fall Short to Kalamazoo Central

The Battle Creek Central Bearcats were finally able to get their home contest with Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference rival Kalamazoo Central Monday after two rescheduled dates.

The original contest was set for December 8th, but was moved due to a schedule conflict for the eventual Kalamazoo Central season opener the following night. The game was changed to February 2nd, originally a night in Kalamazoo, but the Maroon Giants would make the trip with the road contest scheduled for January 16th. Then, Mother Nature came calling.

The third attempt on Monday was well worth the wait.
