HS Basketball – Spartans Streak Past Lakewood for Road Win

The Lakeview Spartans hit the road to a place they've never been before. After Monday night, they might go back.

Looking for just their third win on the season, they battled a Lakewood Vikings squad on their home floor in Lake Odessa. Lakewood, playing out of the Greater Lansing Athletic Conference, has gone through a few changes on their squad. Playing with just seven players on the varsity, they had gone 2-2 since finalizing the roster.

The Spartans stepped out of conference for the final time this season before district play and are getting ready for their second trip through the Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference's East Division rotation.
