Kalamazoo Silent Observer Launches App For Anonymous Tips

Kalamazoo County residents now have a new option for leaving anonymous tips to help police solve crimes.

MLive reports that Kalamazoo County Silent Observer has now partnered with Texas-based Anderson Software, to develop an app for Android and iOS smartphones. When you use the app, you can submit anonymous tips, as well as attach photos and other files.

In order to use the app, residents need to download it for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and create a unique passcode to access it. Once installed, anonymous tips on a variety of crimes can be left. Tips can still be left via text message or phone call.
