Mom Creates Car Rooftop Pool For Kids
It appears to me these days that I am more often asking myself how some people actually survive day to day.
To add to my growing list of “how do these people actually survive day to day” I give you Jennifer A. Janus Yeager, a 49 year old mother from the great state of Illinois.
She was arrested for “allegedly” driving her SUV while her daughters sat in an inflatable pool on its roof.
Yes you read that correctly.
According to the Daily Caller, the police pulled her over in the afternoon because a witness called them and told them she was driving down the street with an inflatable pool on the top of her SUV with children in it.
According to the police her reason for doing so was:
During the course of the investigation it was learned that Yeager drove into town to inflate the pool at a friends’ house and had her two juvenile daughters ride inside of the empty pool to hold it down on their drive home.
You ever hear of a rope?
This mother of the year candidate was arrested on “two counts of endangering the life or health of a child, two counts of reckless conduct and failure to secure a passenger between 8 and 16.”
Sometimes you just have to shake your head and move along. Thankfully for those children someone actually called the police on her.
