Richard’s Ride: F-150 Pro Trailer Backup Assist

Are you frightened by the idea of backing up a trailer - threading it into a parking space? Okay, maybe "frightened" is a strong word - but maybe the idea intimidates you. That makes sense! I feel the same way.

Ford realized that many people do. So they developed the Pro Trailer Backup Assist function on the F-150, which basically parks the trailer for you.

You might remember Ford's Park Assist technology which we've featured in previous Richard's Ride segments. The Pro Trailer Backup Assist capitalizes on that technology, allowing the driver to simply "dial in" where they want the trailer to go, and the truck will do the work!
