There is a sad update in the search for a missing Jackson County woman.

The Albion Department of Public Safety is investigating an armed robbery of an Albion business. Police say an employee of the business was assaulted and tied up during the incident.

The home owner advised that the alligator came from a pond and swamp area on his property and was walking across the yard.
