A proposed bailout of Detroit’s debt-ridden school district may still not be enough. According to the Associated Press, new legislative analysis says that a proposed $617 million bailout may be $88 million short of what’s needed. The legislation is on its way for a vote in Michigan’s Republican-led Senate, but the Senate Fiscal Agency report could complicate efforts to set the bills before Governor Snyder.
