Runners In Grand Haven Beating the Traffic

Some runners received the chance to test out a new stretch of highway in western Michigan before it opens to vehicle traffic. About 300 people participated in Saturday's "M23.1k Run." The 14.3-mile event started and ended at Robinson Elementary School in Grand Haven on Michigan highway 231.
