Ken Evans is the latest addition to the Mix 95.7 fam and he’s so excited to be back and talking to YOU, weekdays 3-7p. Ken’s been a fixture in West Michigan radio for nearly 20 years and has loved GR from the moment he got here. “I’m incredibly lucky to not only to be a part of one of Grand Rapids’ most popular stations, but I get to work with Fish, Christine, and so many talented people that are here to serve West Michigan. They also promised a steady flow of bourbon, so that’s cool too.” Ken loves hanging out with his wife & son (especially at Oval Beach), checking out West Michigan’s beer scene, hunting, and dropping a few bucks at Gun Lake Casino now and then. If you’re at the blackjack table with Ken, please don’t hit on the bust cards. Ken has been heavily involved in the West Michigan philanthropic community for years. After watching his mother fight off two different types of cancer, but then succumb to the complications from her treatments, he became heavily involved in raising funds for Van Andel Institute’s Purple Community. He currently serves on the board as Marketing Chair to help in the fight against cancer and Parkinson’s disease. If you see Ken out and about, feel free to say hi, and he always loves an IPA, especially a Mad Hatter from New Holland. ;)
