The Battle Creek Rumble Bees have parted ways with Head Coach Clint Hagmaier.  The team, winless in nine games, has been outscored on the ice, 52-15.

The Rumble Bees say that General Manager Adam Stio will assume the reins as Coach, effective immediately.  Stio will continue to serve as the hockey club’s General Manager. Stio takes on the additional duties having previously served in the role of Assistant Coach for several pro hockey organizations including the ECHL.

Hagmaier, 38, was a defenseman in the MId-Atlantic Hockey League in his playing days and competed collegiately at Edinboro University in northwestern Pennsylvania.  Before the season, he acknowleged that he had been working in the front office for a while, but was very excited to get back behind the bench.

The Rumble Bees search for a permanent replacement as team Head Coach is now currently underway.
