Coach McGinnis’ Funeral Arrangements Made

Funeral services have been announced for long-time Battle Creek Central coach and teacher Jeff McGinnis.  The 64 year old died last Monday due to complications from colon cancer. Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service next Sunday May 21, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.   A celebration of McGinnis's life will be held at the Battle Creek Central Field House on Monday, May 22, at 2:00 pm.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements by the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service. 

As of Monday morning, a Go Fund Me campaign to raise money for funeral expenses and medical costs was at $4815 of a $6000 goal.
