Time is running out to get registered to vote in the August primary election. Calhoun County Clerk and Register of Deeds Anne Norlander, reminds Calhoun County residents that Monday, July 9th is the last day to register to be eligible to vote.

If you are not yet registered to vote in Michigan, I encourage you to do so as soon as possible. Voter participation is the foundation of our democracy.

Voters may register in person or by mail. The mail-in application is located on the County Clerk website under the Elections tab. Voter registration can also be made at any Secretary of State branch office or renewal by mail program.

First-time voters who register by mail must vote in person in their first election, unless they hand-deliver the application to their local clerk, are 60 years old or older, are disabled, or are overseas.
