School is back in swing and we're inching closer to September. That can only mean one thing when the stadium lights illuminate the skies in Michigan. Football season is just around the corner.

The Michigan High School Athletic Association's fall season officially got under way August 12th with the first day of practices for all sports. Compared to other years, football practices began the same day as athletes in cross country, Girls golf, and Boys tennis and soccer. Volleyball and Girls swimming began just two days later.

We are almost a week away from the first football contests of 2019. With that comes the announcement of our 2019 High School Football schedule here on WBCK. Jim Hughes returns as my co-pilot this season as we embark on 11 games that are sure to instill what football at the high school level can provide to the community.

Without further ado, here's a look at the 2019 football schedule. All game broadcasts begin at 6:35pm unless further noted. The schedule is also subject to change --
