It is one of the busiest nights in the postseason for Boys Basketball, including on the airwaves Wednesday from Marshall High School. It was second night of District action in the Michigan High School Athletic Association and we both two semifinals contests in the Fountain City.

The opener was a cat fight, as the Pennfield Panthers and Parchment Panthers squared off for the first time since the regular season finale in 2016. Pennfield was looking to extend a four-game winning streak against Parchment, dating back to the Kalamazoo Valley Association days.

The nightcap saw the hosting Redhawks take on the Olivet Eagles, who entered the semis with just one loss on the season. Marshall had not lost to Olivet since 2010, covering five games.

Two other City teams were also in action at Gull Lake and four area schools involved in the District Semifinals in Bellevue.

Take a look back at both Game of the Night recaps, along with all the scores from the area's MHSAA District Semifinals.
