Tigers Host Non-Conference Foe: HS Basketball-January 12
After weather wiped out three days of competition, the High School Basketball schedule gets back into high gear tonight. The St. Philip Tigers return home to host the Centreville Bulldogs in non-conference action, while the girls squad will hit the road to St. Joseph County.
The Tigers are 3-3 on the season, but they have yet to win a game outside of the South Central Athletic Association. It starts a three-game week, as they hit the road to battle Bellevue Tuesday and Burr Oak Friday. They get to see an old St. Joseph Valley Conference foe in Centreville, who is 1-4 on the year and looking to end a four-game skid. After upending Marcellus Howardsville Christian December 8th, they have gone winless since including a five-point defeat to Constantine on Thursday.
