HS Basketball – Moore’s 30 Give Spartans 4th Straight Win

It took us a long time to catch up with the Lakeview Spartans this High School Basketball season. In regards to our Game of the Night, we have joined them at the right time.

A couple of early season injuries started the Spartans behind early, dropping four of their first six games. Since, Lakeview has won four straight following Friday's 65-54 victory over the Loy Norrix Knights. The win propelled the Spartans past last season's win total of five victories with their sixth this season

After an even first quarter the Spartans capitalized on hot shooting in the second quarter, outscoring the Knights 15-3. Lakeview would never relinquish the lead.

The last time we saw the Spartans was at the Chuck Turner Classic, junior point guard Tommy Moore led with 28 points on their way to a victory over Harper Creek. Moore surpassed his career-high by two, scoring 30 to lead all scorers. Harrison Jewell added 12 points and Canyon Upston provided 10 points.

Jordan Mabon-Cooks led the Knights with 11 points.
