HS Basketball – Threes Lead Panthers to Victory (VIDEO)

The Pennfield Panthers returned home to host a non-conference rivalry that has been highly contested over the last few years with the Homer Trojans Tuesday night.

The two squads have squared off in each of the last seven seasons. Pennfield was looking to stretch their winning streak over the Trojans after escaping with a 64-61 overtime win last year as part of the Cereal City Classic held at the Battle Creek Central Fieldhouse.

Both teams had a lot on the line in this early season contest in our Game of the Night. The Panthers were looking to even up their record on the season after struggling in their Interstate 8 opener with Parma Western. The Trojans were looking to avoid trading another loss following a win Friday over Concord, while doing it away from Big 8 Conference play.
