The second day of the Michigan High School Athletic Association's playoffs took us to Marshall to see the Redhawks host the Plainwell Trojans.

It was a battle of two 5-4 teams that squeezed their way into the postseason in a Division 4 District that had three teams with identical records. They were all chasing the 8-1 Paw Paw Redskins, the top seed in the district.

After Paw Paw's convincing win Friday over Vicksburg, they were awaiting the winner of today's Game of the Night.

The Redhawks were looking to become the third team in the Interstate 8 to continue into the second week of the postseason. They were also looking for their first postseason win since their second State championship season in 2009.

Check out the recap of our game from the Fountain City, along with the five scores from Friday's action.
