HS Football – BC Central Runs Past Lakeview

The term "throw out the record books" always seems to be a part of rivalry games. It was a part of this year's crosstown battle between Battle Creek Central and Lakeview at C.W. Post Field.

For the hosting Bearcats, they were looking for their first win on the season after two competitive contests with Stevensville-Lakeshore and Portage Central. The visiting Spartans were looking to forget their Week 2 loss in Cedar Springs.

We take a look back at our High School Football Game of the Night, along with scores from Week 3. They include two overtime thrillers and three other games that went down to the wire.

In the end, there are seven teams still undefeated, with one more potentially after Saturday night. A few of the undefeated teams battle each other in Week 4.
