HS Football – Mother Nature Wins Friday, Game of the Day Saturday

Week 5 of the High School Football season has most of the contests taking place or continuing on Saturday due to weather.

Our Game of the Night on 95.3 WBCK was one of those games that will take place Saturday when the Pennfield Panthers make their way to Harper Creek to take on the Beavers. All of the details of our game and several other games that will take place can be seen below in our recap from Harper Creek.

Were there any games that were completed? Yes, actually four games went to completion. It includes the St. Philip Fighting Tigers road game at North Adams-Jerome and homecoming at Bellevue from the Broncos hosting Camden-Frontier.

Most of the other games never kicked off, even with earlier game times due to the Eastern equine encephalitis outbreak in the area. Two games made it to halftime before the weather came. Check out to see when your team is playing Saturday.
