Two area schools that have been able to prove their 8-Man playoff potential in their brief histories in the sport will start their trek back to .500 tonight.

The second portion of the Michigan High School Athletic Association season begins tonight with a trip to Eaton County to see the St. Philip Fighting Tigers battle the Bellevue Broncos in our Game of the Night.

The two squads saw each other twice last season with the Broncos coming out on top, including a 54-6 win in the first round of the 8-Man Division 1 playoffs. That win clinched their fifth straight win over the Tigers, dating back to 2009 in a 14-7 St. Philip win.

After three games, both squads have a lot of work to do to have a chance at another postseason bid.

Check out the preview of tonight's game below and all the area games taking place. There are also a couple of kick-off time changes tonight that you might want to take a look at here, too.
